It is very healthy and delicious puri. Children are attracted to this puri very quickly. Full of nutrition and easy to make.

Directions

Dough should not be too soft. Use of ginger is optional. Fry puris on medium heat.

1 Step

Wash and peel the beet root. Cut it roughly.

2 Step

Take a mixer jar add beet root, carom seeds and ginger. Grind it to make fine paste.

3 Step

Take a mixing bowl add wheat flour, beet paste and salt . Mix it well . Knead dough. Add 1-2 tsp water in jar . Use this water for kneading the dough.

4 Step

Add oil and make little hard dough. Keep it aside to rest.

5 Step

Heat oil in a wok.

6 Step

Grease oil in your hand. Knead dough to make it smooth.

7 Step

Divide dough into equal parts. Roll round shaped puris from the dough.

8 Step

Deep fry all the puris on medium heat till it becomes crispy.

9 Step

Transfer it on kitchen napkin.
