Broken wheat is full of fibres. During winters various veggies are easily available. Add veggies of your own choice and make this very healthy and nutritious upma.

1 Step

Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin seeds. Saute for 2-3 minutes. Add onion, chilli, carrot , beans and peas.

2 Step

Cover the wok with a lid. Cook on medium flame till veggies become tender. Add dry spices. Mix well.

3 Step

Add water. Wait till it boils. Add broken wheat. Cook on low flame till it looks like pulao. Add lemon juice. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
