Directions
Always use fresh CHENA. Adjust the sweetness as per your taste as we are using roohafja it is also sweet. You can also add grinded nuts of your choice.
Take a heavy bottom wok. Add CHENA and sugar in it . Cook it on low medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
Now add coconut roast it for 3-4 minutes. Add milk in it. Stir continuesly.
When milk is absorbed by the mixture add roohafja , food colour and cardamom powder. Mix it well .
When it takes dough like consistency , turn-off the flame.
Transfer the mixture in a plate . Let it cool.
Smooth the mixture with your hands.
Grease the modak mould inside with ghee. Start filling mixture from the bottom hole of the mould .
Open and unmold. Prepare all the modak with same method.
Conclusion
Place all the modak in a plate . Pour some roohafja on the top.
