A hugely popular dish, Honey Chill Potato is juicy, crunchy and full of flavour snack that you just cannot resist. It is cooked with spring onion and bell peppers in a sweet and spicy sauce. Honey Chilli Potato is a popular Indo-Chinese appetizer. Sweet and spicy flavor combination makes it delicious. An ideal dish to serve for parties, get-togethers.

Directions

In a bowl, add cornflour or maida, salt and red chilli powder. Add the sliced potatoes and mix well until the potatoes are coated. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the potatoes until golden. Keep aside.

1 Step

In a large kadai, heat oil and saute garlic, ginger, green chilli. Then saute capsicum on high flame.

2 Step

Add chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soya sauce, vinegar and salt. Saute on high flame for 30 seconds. Now mix 1 tbsp corn flour in ¼ cup water without any lumps. Pour the corn flour mixture and stir continuously till it turns translucent.

3 Step

Turn off the flame, add honey and mix well. Further add fried potato and mix gently and sprinkle roasted sesame seeds and mix well. Serve honey chilli potato hot.

Conclusion

Honey chilli potato can be served with fried rice. To enhance more taste diced onion can be added.
