Creamy shahi paneer is a very tasty dish with rich gravy. Here I have used home made paneer because of which the taste is just awesome.

1 Step

Cut onion and tomatoes lengthwise.

2 Step

Heat ghee in a wok. Add cumin seeds. When it splutters, add ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

Add onion ,green chilli and soaked cashews. Saute well till onion becomes pink. Add tomatoes and mix well.

4 Step

Add dry spices. Saute for 3-4 minutes.

5 Step

Put off the flame. Let the mixture cool completely. Transfer the mixture in a blender. Blend till mixture becomes very smooth.

6 Step

Transfer in the same wok. Cook on slow flame for 2-3 minutes. Add cream or malai.

7 Step

Add milk to maintain the consistently of the gravy.

8 Step

Add paneer cubes. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Switch off the gas.

9 Step

Season with black pepper powder and fresh green coriander leaves. Serve with naan.
