It is a delicious Indian red lentil recipe. Very easy to cook, rich source of fibre, vitamin , protein and other nutrients. This whole lentil helps to stabilise blood sugar level.

Soak the daal for 5-10 minutes. Don’t over cook the dal.
In a pressure cooker add daal , 2.5 cup water, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp salt. Pressure cook it for 3-4 whistles or until softened.
Take a wok heat ghee. Add cumin seeds. When it turns brown add green chillis , ginger - garlic and onions. Cook until onions becomes brown .
Add tomatoes , salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, black pepper powder. Mix it well.
Saute for 4-5 minutes on low heat. Till Ghee releasing from the sides .
Add boiled dal in it. Mix gently. Add water to maintain consistency .
Simmer it for 2-3 minutes on low flame. Stir.
Now add garam masala and fresh cream . Mix it .
Turn off the flame. Transfer it in serving bowl. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
